Red Stripe Poly Pipe
Red Stripe Poly Pipe is essentially the same as blue stripe poly, the only difference being the colour of the external stripe. Red Stripe Poly is used for underground high pressure fire mains and is normally supplied in SDR11 or PN16. Red Stripe Poly is also known as Red Stripe HDPE Fire Mains. The advantage of using a red stripe is so that after installation, the poly is easily recognisable for what service the pipe is providing. This is especially important when multiple colours of HDPE/MDPE pipes are laid side by side in a trench.

Poly Pipe in Lengths
Matrix Piping can offer poly pipe in 6 metre and 12 metre lengths. On larger projects and for HDPE pipes that are 110mm diameter and over, we can also offer lengths up to 20 metres long.
Poly Pipe in Coils
Matrix Piping offer coils in polyethylene pipe sizes from 20mm up to 110mm diameter. Coils are also available for diameters 125mm, 140mm and 160mm, however we recommend that clients perform a full risk analysis and provide their installers with suitable uncoiling machinery. Standard lengths of coils vary from size to size, however common lengths available are 50, 100, 150 and 200 metres.
