Blue Stripe Poly Pipe
Blue Stripe Poly Pipes are fundamentally the same as black poly pipes, however it is externally blue striped to code what type of medium (mains water) it contains, (also known as potable water mains). Blue Striped poly pipe is also known as Blue Line HDPE Pipe. The benefit of using a blue stripe is so that after installation, the contents of the HDPE pipes are easily recognisable as being potable water. This is especially important when blue stripe pipes are laid in a common trench with other striped poly pipes, for instance a gas mains which is marked with a yellow stripe.

Poly Pipe in Lengths
Matrix Piping can offer poly pipe in 6 metre and 12 metre lengths. On larger projects and for HDPE pipes that are 110mm diameter and over, we can also offer lengths up to 20 metres long.
Poly Pipe in Coils
Matrix Piping offer coils in polyethylene pipe sizes from 20mm up to 110mm diameter. Coils are also available for diameters 125mm, 140mm and 160mm, however we recommend that clients perform a full risk analysis and provide their installers with suitable uncoiling machinery. Standard lengths of coils vary from size to size, however common lengths available are 50, 100, 150 and 200 metres.
